Latterly,
pocket knives have had a tendency to look alike...
It was time to innovate ! We decided to reinvent the pocket
knife ! How ?
Cest Easy: the single-bladed knife is over, out of From now on
the pocket knife should have 2 blades !
More than just a new creation in cutlery, the Côte à Côte is
a genuine innovation in the way of seeing the pocket knife of the
third millennium.

The
Côte à Côte is truly unique and original in concept.
Beyond being a mere
object, it bears a message.
In fact, if you give it within a business context or quite simply to close
relations, it will represent a symbol :
- the symbol of working together or of
an association, 2 blades because " two's company...";it's better...";
- the symbol of a complementary relationship :
a blade with bite for difficult cutting and a sharp-edged blade for other
types;
- the symbol of equality, 2 blades of the same
length infer that we treat others as equals.

Practically speaking, what is the point of having 2 different blades ?
Bruno Sauzedde Managing
Director of FACOSA:
The idea came to me when watching my father who frequently sharpened his
blade because he used his pocket knife to eat and for every other use.
When the blade was worn, he took a new knife!
So I thought that 2 blades were essential to make a knife that
is irreplaceable and can be used on every occasion.
- a slender, highly-sharpened blade for cutting food or fine materials
precisely;
- a toothed blade for more forceful yet effortless cutting (the
teeth cut down on effort by reducing the repeated cutting movements on
the object to be cut.)
